I am Michelle Musendekwa, a 20 year old girl from Zimbabwe. I am currently in my 2nd year in Construction Studies at UCT. I am very passionate about the construction industry. I am hardworking. I am resilient and always up for a challenge. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to attend the community build. It was eye-opening and educational. I was afforded the opportunity to apply my knowledge and improve at the same time. Being on site improved my ability to create my own picture when I look at plans. I cannot wait to go back.

My name is Luthando Shezi. I am a second-year student in Construction Studies at UCT. I am quite interested about the construction industry. Enjoy teamwork and partaking in challenging activities.

 Experience:

Worked as an assistant construction manager for 3 weeks at Bitprop. Participated in the 2021 Xmas CEM Community Build. Worked as an intern at WNA Consulting Engineers for 3 weeks. Recently participated in the 2022 Spring CEM Community Build

I am currently in my second year of Construction Studies, studying towards a degree in Quantity Surveyoring.
